Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), carved out of its parent university, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in year 2005 at Ludhiana, is today country’s top ranking Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. University is mandated to produce competent human resource, develop need based innovative technologies and provide extension services for wholistic development of the animal husbandry, dairy and fisheries sectors under the umbrella of one-health.
